+wadel Posted June 1, 2002 Share Posted June 1, 2002 Right around the time 3bears made that post, there was an article in the Herald repeating what they said. The article mentioned that there is no legal public access to the area and the state was in the process of trying to buy land for an access road. Since then I have not heard anything so I am not sure where it stands. If you find out anything, please post to let us know. Quote Link to comment

+citrix_99301 Posted June 2, 2002 Author Share Posted June 2, 2002 I took my dog for a walk along the boundary yesterday afternoon and sure enough came to the No Trespassing signs within a mile of the cache. Hard to plead ignorance on that one - they're posted every 50 yards or so. I'm tempted to strike out for it around 4 on a Sunday morning, while the law enforcement community is hopefully asleep.
