+CameraThyme
How interested would a group of geocachers be for an event centered around 'dutch oven' chefs? I think this is one way I could get my spousal unit into a caching event. Opinions? CameraThyme Quote Link to comment
+junebuggy
I'm usually up for most things involving food, but could dutch oven cooking include slow cookers? Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
MG1 keeps eyeing this cast iron cooking set at Costco. If it meant he could buy that cookware, I know he'd throw his hat into the ring. If ignorance is bliss, why aren't there more happy people?? Quote Link to comment
teamwsmf
My wife is like a freaking Iron Chef CrockPot. She cooks stuff of such mouth watering flavor in those dadgum little things I almost want to get her on FoodTv. Im more the JunkYardWarrior of cooking though I have been known to Iron Chef a tofu dish or three. Does Alton Brown geocache and could we get him to the NW?- -tom ---------------------------- TeamWSMF@wsmf.org Quote Link to comment

+fractal
Food Network and Geocaching... I don't know how you could combine the two, but let me know when you figure it out! In the meantime... For those Iron Chef fans on here, I made an Iron Chef techno song called "Broth of Vigor". +misguided one
OK, now I know someone has way too much time on their hands. I really got a kick out of that. Well done, fractal. (pun intended) Quote Link to comment

+CameraThyme
WSMF - Thank you for the clickable links to Dutch Oven this-n-that! I'm thinking that between the MisGuided Ones, WSMF, my Scoutmaster and further inspired to keep ourselves busy so that we don't have so much time on our hands to construct mp3s of such VIGOR... , it will happen. Any suggestions for a timeline? Would early September, beyond the Holiday weekend, work? Kind of a Fall sort of activity don't you all think? -CT CameraThyme Quote Link to comment
+Wander Lost
September sounds good. Free weekends this summer are pretty scarce so September might just work out well. It will also give us time time to test a few recipes out. If ignorance is bliss, why aren't there more happy people?? Quote Link to comment
teamwsmf
Yea sometime int he mid to late sept might be good for us as well. The little critter should be able to be out in the wilds by then. Weekend preferable as its school time for my 8 year old:)- -tom ---------------------------- TeamWSMF@wsmf.org Quote Link to comment
Buddyah
My whole family would love to help/participate in an event like this. Where were you thinking of having this event. I even know some people who are Dutch Oven Masters. Quote Link to comment
