+3Prettys
My upcoming CITO (Sunday) is on an island, which can be reached by kayak or rowboat only. There is now 6 hours of rain forecast for the time of our tree planting activity. What are my options about changing the date, etc.? Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
You can change event dates on the edit page . I did it for several weeks running for an event of mine - weather predictions for severe storms, possible tornadoes. Each time, I edited the event date from "this week" to "next week", AND used an announcement log - this log is sent to anyone who has logged a Will Attend. This was a previous version of the event and cache page. I'm not sure if the current 14 days out restriction in creating the event applies to date changes for the page. . You can simply try it. Either the form will accept your new date one week out, say 5 or 6 May (?), (assuming that's what you like to try) or you'll get an error message, something about 14 days. You can absolutely change the time just by editing the text. But you know that if prediction is for afternoon storms and you shift to morning, the storms will come in faster ;-) Edited April 25, 2018 by Isonzo Karst 2 Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
"Chopping" wet wood's not too safe either. Looks like you have a decent "will attend" group number for a 5T CITO, they'd probably attend the following weekend as well. Good luck. Quote Link to comment
+3Prettys
Thank you both for your advice. I completely agree that merely changing the time will just speed up the bad weather! Quote Link to comment
