I think the old adage that it's very difficult to remove a feature once it's in place is true in this case. Undoubtedly, a great deal of drama would ensue if it were removed. The didn't seem to hesitate when they removed the coordinate conversion link and page that used to be on every cache listing. 2 Quote Link to comment

Unlike the worthless fb and twit links, the coordinate conversion link was actually geocaching related and helpful at times. I think there are social links on other pages as well (i think i even saw one on the login page). They don't bother me too much because i pretty much tune them out.. Quote Link to comment
