pantadeusz
Hi, I just looked it up and my geocaching up is taking up 1.20 gb of space on my phone. No idea what it's storing but is there some way to reduce this? Quote Link to comment
noncentric
Is that the "data used" amount, or the "internal storage used"? Not sure if your phone has the same terminology as mine (Samsung). Did you "Download Offline Data" for one of your Lists/PQs? If so, then that could be part of the issue and you'd need to go to that List and select "Remove Offline Data" to free up space. My internal storage is 46MB, without any offline data. I downloaded data for a list of 27 caches and it jumped up to 107 MB. Quote Link to comment
pantadeusz
Obviously I removed all the offline data from the lists. The app is still taking 1.24 gb. Quote Link to comment
noncentric
Well, then I don't have any idea. The raw app itself uses less than 50mb, so not sure how yours is more than 1gb without any additional stored data (lists). I can see how the app could use gb's of cellular data, but not sure how it can use that much phone storage. Maybe someone else will be able to assist. Quote Link to comment

pantadeusz
Ok I have just reinstalled it and it's gone down to 50MB. So I gained a gb of space for free. I guess that means more podcasts... Quote Link to comment
