first aid kits

I've seen decent first aide kits for less than $20 at Fred Meyers, K-Mart (do they still have those in Portland?), Wal-Mart... Even WinCo Foods has them sometimes. Might try Walgreen's Pharmacy.

Of course, my concept of 'decent' is the medium sized white plastic box with 1,600 varieties of band-aide, some ointment, scisors, and enough other equipment to perform minor reconstructive surgery.

I also found some really neat, very small first aide kits in the Impulse Buy area at freddy's recently. About $2, they had ointment and band-aids, maybe some wetnaps. Great for putting in your pocket. I also got a small sized kit at Rite-Aid for about $6, this one was larger but it was curved so as to be comfortable in a jacket or pants pocket.
