+Real Batman
I've given up on using lists on my Garmin GPSmap 62sc (or any of my Garmin GPS's)! So now I am forced to transfer GPX files individually onto my Garmin. Considering how many I have to do (planning a long trip) it will take hours. Oh well.. heavy sigh. Today however, I noticed something that I would like assistance on. In the GPX folder there are a number of files that are duplicated, but one of the two has an extension. Would someone kindly explain why? Thank you! (in case I have problems attaching a png, here is what it looks like: GC1BTEZ.GPX GC1BTEZ.GPX 15.54.53 Edited October 7, 2017 by Real Batman format fix Quote Link to comment
+hzoi
My guess is the extra digits on the second one are the time of day, in 24 hours (7 seconds shy of 4:55 PM). You might consider using pocket queries so you don't have to load individual GPS files, or even using GSAK to manage databases and then export what you want to the GPSr in bulk. Your call, of course. 1 Quote Link to comment

As a Premium member you have the ability to transfer up to 1,000 caches at a time using Pocket Queries. There is a bit of a learning curve to using PQs but it is well worth the time to learn the procedure. Actually it is pretty simple unless you try to complicate it by using criteria in the That(And) or Attributes sections. Give it a try, then come back here if you have any questions. 2 Quote Link to comment
