+citrix_99301
Hey folks, I got this in my pop box today. I've only been Geocaching for a couple weeks and besides I've already had my 15 hours of fame and glory in the pages of the Herald. I'm wondering if there's a colorful Tri-Cities Geocacher willing to be interviewed for his story. Hello, My name is Tom Norman. I am a fellow geocache fan and a reporter for the Tri-City Herald. I am planning to write a story on geocaching and I need to contact people who are interested in geocaching. If you would be willing to talk to me, please e-mail me at tnorman@tri-cityherald.com with your phone number and I will give you a call. Thank you very much. +wadel
I am originally from the Tri-Cities and still have family there. When the article is printed, can you post a message so I can track down a copy? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
TriCityGuy
I fired off an e-mail to the Herald volunteering and coincidentally got an e-mail from Loretto Hulse--possibly because of my screen name. Regardless, I'll do my best to represent the sport if they interview me. What might dovetail in nicely is that I'm planning to do an educational cache for the local Boys and Girls club and maybe that would fit into an article. +citrix_99301
Loretto's their food writer. I can just picture the story now. . . Quote Link to comment
TriCityGuy
The Herald published the story Sunday. I've posted the text of it here: http://216.171.130.150/geocaching.htm Loretto did a good job writing the story I thought. And, Sluggo did a great job showing her around. Quote Link to comment
