Looked for this answer all over the place. When I have a list, do geocaches automatically update (finds, dnf's, etc.)on my list? Hope this question is not confusing.

When you run a PQ of a list, you will get the latest information.

Lists are simply selected geocaches grouped into specific sets (lists). If you are online and click on a cache that's in a list, then you'll be seeing the most recent data for that cache.

 

If you download a list for offline use, then that offline list will have cache information as-of the time you downloaded it. Once the data is downloaded, then it will not automatically update.

 

To get updated data for a downloaded list, you would need to re-download it. If you're using the "Send to Garmin" feature, then that means re-sending the list to your GPSr to have updated data on your Garmin. If you're using the official app, then you can select the "Refresh Geocache Data" option for a downloaded list.
