makaio
I just returned from running the McGrew Trail near O'Brien, OR. There's a new cache up in the mountains for anyone down there willing to make the trip. Redwood Red has a few caches in the area and has mentioned her love of offroading. Maybe she'll give it a go http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=25317 - Quote Link to comment
Lazyboy & Mitey Mite
Gotta wait awhile, the cache isn't approved yet. Seems things take a little longer around here these days. Price of progress I guess. Never Squat With Yer Spurs On Quote Link to comment
Gloom
yet. ---- Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together. Quote Link to comment
makaio
but I did the "temporarily archive this cache" trick to allow folks to see it until such time that is is approved. it must work, as there is now 1 person watching it. - Quote Link to comment
makaio
Dunno what's taking the admins so long to approve this cache, but here's a pic of me on the trail showing the typical trail conditions... - [This message was edited by makaio on June 13, 2002 at 10:48 AM.] Quote Link to comment
Gloom
they must not like you makio.... BTW, nice Jeep. I wish mine had articulation like that. ---- Duct tape is like the Force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together. Quote Link to comment
makaio
I think Matt of Matt&Laura must've upset them Really, though, there's absolutely nothing about this cache that should prevent it from being approved. It's placed along a designated Jeep/OHV trail and the cache is just a simple go to the coordinates type of cache. I suppose their just swamped or busy with real life stuff. Still, there have been other caches approved which were submitted afterward. - Quote Link to comment
makaio
I hope some of you Klamath folks get a chance to hunt it. It's a great area. I'm looking forward to the logs to see who runs the trail versus who hikes from the forest service road. - Quote Link to comment
