Android app : how to log TB while logging a cache

Hi, short story : I had to uninstall the geocaching classic app. Can't install it anymore because it's not in the store. So I need to use the only one app from Groundspeak. Where I can log "visit" the TB I have in my inventory while I log a cache??? I won't do it manually, no way!

This doesn't answer your question--except I think that the answer is "You can't"-- but you don't really need to use the only one app from Groundspeak. There are several other apps available, some of them are much better, some of them are free. Just sayin.' I'm not an app user myself, but others can give you info on the other apps.

Yeah, the new app doesn't handle trackables yet. I'd suggest using field notes, and selecting the visited trackable(s) when you turn the field notes into real logs, but the new app doesn't handle field notes either.

I just bought a new phone and the old Classic app was still available when I went to My Apps. Quickly downloaded it before they took it away. My issue is the new app doesn't acknowledge the Ignore list so i get Ignored Caches on the screen. The old one doesn't. Whew.

Hi, thanks for the answers. I figured it out before reading the answers. But its alway cool to know I'm going in the same way as others. But.... Groundspeak!!! Wake up!!!!! With all the money Groundspeak get with premium members, they can at least listen to us and make it happend. C:geo is ok (just ok, not good), the navigation is realy bad! Can't zoom enough and can't turn the map (clockwise or counter...).

 

Another problem with Groundspeak app: the search section... whouaaa its sucks too!!! The search possibility are 10% of the classic app. Can you believe: cannot search a cache with it's name (or part of it). In events, in general, do people talk with the gc or the cache name... made my point.

 

Anyway, I was able to find the classic app on a third party website and its working like I like it (oem app). Amd i can log all the tb at once. Will keep the install file in case...
