what if a member logged but not signed the booklet

A few weeks ago I've installed my first series of caches. When checking the log booklet, 2 of the loggers haven't signed the booklet. Can I remove their log or what is the usual thing to do in this case?

Yes, you can delete the "found it" logs.

I would also check that they didn't mention they're caching with someone else. Some groups only sign once, or sign under a team name/initials.

Check their Found caches. They may have miskeyed the cache GC number...

Also, some beginners sign with their real names on their first geocaching trip, and then later create a geocaching.com name that is different from their real names.
