How do I change the date for an event cache.

Had a new event cache published, but now want to have it a week later. When i try to edit the cache placed date it will not let me. What do I do?

You can't. I'm sure it's to prevent people from posting events a few weeks in advance then changing the date to less than the 2 weeks required notice.

 

Send a message to your reviewer, include the gc code, and what you would like done - in this case moving the event date.

You should readily be able to edit the date forward a week.

I just did it twice on an event of mine, as two weekends in a row the Saturday forecast was for heavy thunderstorms and tornadoes.

 

If you failed it's got to be because you mishandled the date itself.

 

Instead of trying to manually type in numbers, use the pull down calendar.

 

Be sure to post an "announcement" log that explains the date change!

I did use the pull down and when I try to sumbit the change it says i selected an invald date

I was able to change it. I actually typed it, INSTEAD of using the drop down menu and that worked just fine.
