Can you see the files in the right folder of your GPS? Quote Link to comment

Make sure your filter setting is set to include all cache types, sizes, etc. 2. If a cache is approximately 130 miles away, it will not show in the list. If you pan the map to that area, it will show on the map, and can be opened from there. Quote Link to comment
+merlin on tour
thank you for your replys i altered the sliders for difficulty, terrain and awesomeness to 5 and now all gpx files are showing Quote Link to comment
+pixies
I am also having this problem, and have moved all the sliders to 5, I have checked the files are on the gps, and don't know what to do next! :-( Quote Link to comment
+IamCoust
I've had the same problem with my 35T, most caches showing, some not (which previously were). Sometimes they would show though, then the next day gone. WTF! Deleted all the gpx files and reloaded them. No improvement. Files were definitely on the GPS, even added them individually, but they just did not show. Today I checked the filters (thanks to hints from this thread), and adjusted them all to 5, and checked again. Nothing there all now! No caches anywhere?? Readjusted the filters to 1, checked again, and EVERYTHING was back, including the caches that were the cause of the initial issue. Experimenting with filters now, lets see what else I can see. +De Bosmannetjes
I have the same problems with my 35T. Most caches are shown but not all. It seems it is not a filter or a 'long distance' problem. My filters are set to show everything, I live in the Netherlands and the caches used in my test are all Dutch caches. It looks like there are GC-code <> cache-ID combinations the 35T cannot handle. For instance GC5DP7M with ID 4615147 is not visible on the map and in the search screen. The cache is shown on the map in the search screen after changing the GC-code and ID to GC5DP7N, 4615148 manually in the gpx file. Other non working combinations are <name>GC5DP7M</name> <Groundspeak:cache id="4615147"> <name>GC56KR9</name> <Groundspeak:cache id="4404243"> <name>GC6RBAP</name> <Groundspeak:cache id="5855893"> <name>GC4PZXA</name> <Groundspeak:cache id="3968074"> After changing the GC-code and recalculating the ID they are back on the map. Looks like a bug in the Etrex 35T..... Quote Link to comment

Looks like a bug in the Etrex 35T..... You've found all of those caches. Are you sure you aren't filtering out found caches? The Garmin devices track your finds internally (not by the status in the GPX file). By changing the GC code, it no longer matches the internal list of caches you've found and wouldn't get filtered out, so it would show up again. Quote Link to comment

Curioser and curioser. We've had 4 Etrexes in last 5 years and have never touched the filters on any of them, they've always been on default setting, whatever it is. Never had a problem with non appearance of caches. Quote Link to comment

It's set to show alle caches including found caches. They were not on the map when I was searching for them for the first time. Used these in my tests because I knew they failed to show up.
