Whilst out on Sunday we had 2 trackables in our bag and were working offline. I have just been in our caching bag and realised that I logged the wrong one as dropped....... is there anyway I can change it on the website or do I just have to hope that nobody visits the cache before I can get back to it?

Do you still have its trackable code?

 

If not, then you could post a note on the cache page and/or on the trackable's page noting that you placed it in this cache, but are not able to log it as in that cache.

 

If so, you can go back to your cache log, click on Edit, and scroll to the bottom. The TBs you have in your inventory will be listed. Drop the correct one.

 

Regardless, you can retrieve the one you mistakenly logged as dropped, since you still have it in your possession and still have the code.

Pick that one up from the cache you "dropped" it in, and drop the other one in that cache. You can pick it up from the trackable page, but to drop the other one you have to go to the cache page again, just make sure you use "write note" instead of another "found it" log.

Thank you... so simple when you thing about it..... I had visions of having to track all of the same muddy (very muddy) paths this weekend and that someone else would get there before me
