"Photos" highlighted as choice on iPhone, but no photos beneath

On the "home" page of each cache on iPhone app, the words "Photos" is highlighted (as if there are photos to be viewed) even when no photos exist. The message comes up, "Cannot View Photos. There are no photos associated with this geocache." In the case of "Hint" and "Attributes", the words are only highlighted when there are indeed hints or attributes to view. Why not treat photos the same way? It may seem small, but it is a waste of time to wait for a function that will yield no results. <_< Advocating for simply unhighlighting the word "Photos" until at least one photo exists for the cache. Also, loading the photos takes a long time on iPhone and seems to burn battery quickly. But at least there is something to see.

I'd think that all the cache info is downloaded right away, so it knows if there's a hint. But it doesn't download the photos because they (can) take up a lot of data. So it won't know if there's photos until you tell it to check...

In that case, it could do a select count(images) to return the number of photos associated with the listing. That way it would only create a link to fetch the photos with subsequent request if there were any available. A select count() function is only going to return a single integer.

However, even if the download did include image data it's most likely going to be downloading *links* to the images (which are stored in the cloud).
