jeepfreaks
Hey everyone, I was just wanting to get opinions on what the best etiquette is for going from a team to solo caching. My husband and I cache together as JeepFreaks, but I have been toying with the idea of starting up my own solo account. Would it be okay to "backlog" all of our caches on my new account, or no? Opinions? Quote Link to comment
MartyBartfast
Yes it's OK and people do it all the time. Try and make your new log the same date as the original and include a comment along the lines of "previously logged with team XXX, now logging with my own account". +redsox_mark
This is common, and generally accepted. I have no issue with it. Then as MartyBartfast said. Quote Link to comment
jellis
Luckily you don't have that many finds. Quote Link to comment
narcissa
People do that all the time. Just make sure you mention what's happening in your log so cache owners know why you're back-dating those logs. Quote Link to comment
dprovan
So as the others have said, relogging is fine if that's what you want to do. I wouldn't bother. I'd use my new account to reflect only what I found after I created it. If I wanted to claim finds on the other caches, I'd just go back and have another adventure to sign them again.
