+geo-jenkins
Is there a way I can send a gpx file via email to an iPhone or Android phone, and then have it opened by the Geocaching.com app? Thanks in advance. Quote Link to comment
RuideAlmeida
... but, you can do the reverse, create a PQ in your computer and after you have it in your account, you can access it on the smartphone. Quote Link to comment
+geodarts
The Groundspeak app is very limited in handling gpx files - whether it be importing a file into the app or exporting a gpx file created in the app. I primarily use an iPhone or iPad, but the app does not support the iOS "open" function allowing you to press on a gpx file in your phone and import it. It will only support gpx files created through pocket queries. This is one of the reasons I prefer a third party app. I use Geosphere to import gpx files from the website, email, Dropbox, or any other app - or export them to my gpsr. Looking4cache and GeoBucket (iPhone) or Android apps like GCDroid or Cachesense also provide some options along these lines. Edited July 28, 2015 by geodarts Quote Link to comment
