Why isn't it possible to change coordinates for all Cache Types.

It's an existing template and shouldn't cause much more work to implementate it also for Letterboxes and wherigos.

I think it isn't possible to change coordinates for those types of cache, because it is not implemented.

Enable Corrected Coords on ALL Cache Types
