+GeoLog81
Often when hiking in forest I met the wayside shrines like that: I've posted it in Wayside Shrines category but it was refused. That category seems for me the most logical, because the cross is too little for Christian Crosses, and it's not stand alone, but has the form of altar. However, Outdoor Altars accept only constructions, that are made for religious cult. I don't understand why it wasn't accepted as Wayside Shrine, and if so, what category should it belong to, and why? Quote Link to comment
+BruceS
Are there several different ones (like 14) in the same area? Is this one of an Outdoor Stations of the Cross Quote Link to comment
+GeoLog81
No, it's not the part of the Passion. It's simply stand-alone cross. Quote Link to comment
+Dorcadion Team
Quite common in our Central European cultural space, I think that Outdoor Altars fits well... Edited May 3, 2015 by Dorcadion Team Quote Link to comment
