find my cache details on my GPS

Recommended Posts

HELP PLEASE! I must state that I don't get to use the GPS when I am Geocaching with my children! When we find a cache I know they add a date and comment into the GPS - i.e 'found' 'log was wet' 'needs repair' 'took a while to find, well hidden' etc. I am now logged into my account on the geocaching website and want to log all these comments and details onto the website. Looking at my GPS screen, I can find the 'show found' list of our finds. If I click on one of our finds it just takes me to the map. I want to find details of our comments made when we found it and the date. Obviously, if we geocache at a weekend, I might not get around to getting on the computer and website for a week or so, and I can't remember which ones we found, which ones were wet etc.

Wow - that's great - thanks - I expect I have to plug the GPS into the computer as I do this - correct?

I have just tried that and when I get the next window I click on the Gramin tab. It then says 1. Plug in GPS (I've done that) 2. click 'browse'. I can't find and don't know where this 'browse' button is?

As you seem very knowledgable, can you also tell me if there is a quicker way of loading new caches onto the GPS to find? At the moment I open up the map and click on each individual Geocach and then click 'write' to GPS. It would be good if you could tell which ones on the map are already saved on the GPS.
