Projecting a Bearing

I have a question? how do I get a bearing from the post accordance on the cache page. I know the bearing and I know the post accordance, how do I project a bearing without being on site.

You can use one of several utilities for that. Google 'fizzycalc' for one such utility (Windows). I often use the web site gpsvisualizer.com/calculators for that sort of thing.

What are you using?

Most GPSs will allow you to project a waypoint.

I was once seeking a cache that would have me project a waypoint 180 ft at bearing ........ but couldn't get that function to work on my GPS at the time. I simply computed the reverse, then walked the proper distance from the beginning. Took a few minutes, but found the cache.
