hallo,

ik heb zojuist een garmin etrex 20 gekregen.

nu vind ik niet hoe is de geocach kan downlaoden op mijn gps.

kan er iemand mij helpen. want ik wil er zo vlug mogelijk mee aan de slag.

Hi Nathalie,

 

First you have to be premium member on geocaching.com, so that you can prepare and download a pocket query. Download the query ZIP file on your PC. Then, with the eTrex, you should have received an USB cable. Connect the eTrex to the PC using this cable. Please note that only this Garmin cable will work (a normal USB cable won't work). Then open the Garmin "disk" in Windows Explorer. Look for a "Garmin" folder. And then inside this one for a "gpx" folder. Now, open a second Windows Explorer windows and look for the pocket query ZIP file you have downloaded. Open the ZIP file. Inside it, you'll see two GPX files. Copy those two files to the GPX folder of the eTrex. That's all.

Vanop de geocachepagina kan je de geocache downloaden naar je GPS

 

Hoe?

 

1) ga naar de geocachepagina

 

2) klik op "Send to My GPS" (juist boven "Geocache Description")

 

3) Klik op de TAB "Garmin"

 

4) Wss wordt de Garmin Communicator NIET gedetecteerd en moet je die nog installeren.

 

5) Klik op "Download and install now" en voer de installatie uit

 

6) Koppel de GPS aan je computer mbv een USB kabel

 

7) de Garmin Communicator plugin zal je GPS nu wel detecteren

 

8) klik op "Write" en de informatie wordt weggeschreven naar je GPS en je krijgt de melding "Geocache GCxxxx.gpx saved successfully"

 

9) Koppel de GPS op een veilige manier los van je computer

10) start de GPS op en kies in het menu "Geocaches" en selecteer de geocache
