Put A Cache Up For Adoption

I see plenty of instruction about how to adopt a cache, but how do I PUT a cache up for adoption?

You start with finding a person willing to adopt it.

 

Folks have asked for a "list page" or something akin to that, but I think it was shot down.

 

 

 

EDIT to add: You could post in the regional forums for your area asking for somebody to adopt it.

If you have someone who is willing to adopt your cache, you need to initiate the adoption procedure.

If you're looking for someone to adopt a cache, you could:

 

--post a note on the cache page

 

--contact folks who have favorited the cache, if any

 

--post about it on your local geocaching group website or facebook page

 

--mention it at your next local event
