But now I plan to place my first night cache and wanted to offer one of them as a FTF prize. Is adopting the only way of giving my TB to the FTF my cache or am I able to Re-De-activate the TB so it can start from fresh? Many thanks in advance Quote Link to comment

But once the adoption has taken place, the TB is theirs to do with whatever they want, just as though it had never been yours. They can change the name, mission, anything to be whatever they want. (Kinda nitpicky I know, but you should properly distinguish between Travel Bugs and Geocoins.) Quote Link to comment
