+robinsbill
I have a couple of questions. I am kind of a newbie, I geocache using the app on my Iphone. I cannot figure out how to log a did not find on that app. And I cannot figure out how to go about leaving a trackable using the iphone app. Also, what is the trackable visiting thing mean? Is it that you log all the geocaches that the trackable you are carrying visits? Thank you so much for any light you can shed. Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
Well it greatly helps if you tell us which app. If it's the paid($10) iPhone app you just need to select the down arrow on the right of the word found it and select whichever log type. You can also do a cost/drop of trackables just under where you write your log. And yes a visit is just that- you took the trackables there but didn't leave it in that cache, for whatever reason. Lots of is have personal trackables the we only visit to caches/events but never actually send them out. BUT don't do that with someone else's, only your own. +JesandTodd
Please don't visit a bug unless it's for a specific reason, like it meets a goal or is an awesome photo opp *with* the TB. Pages and pages and pages of TB visits mean nothing. Don't be that guy Quote Link to comment
+T.D.M.22
Or it's in a race where visits count as points. That how I did so well in my last one. But again it comes down to reading the TB's page to see what the owner wants. Quote Link to comment
