Server Error 500 - when I try to load up a gpx

Hello,

I want to look for geocaches along a route.

For this I made a gpx with my garmin basecamp.

 

When I upload the gpx on this link: http://www.geocaching.com/my/userroutes.aspx

I get a "server 500 error".

 

Any idea whats wrong? Thanx a lot for your help.

GPX files created with Garmin applications (MapSource or BaseCamp) add a byte order mark to the start of the file that causes the uploader to barf. You will need to manually remove that BOM from the file or resave the GPX in another application that doesn't add that BOM (such as EasyGPS).
