Create/Edit a Route page not displaying map

There appears to be a bug on the Create/Edit a Route page - I use a mac and tested in both Chrome and Safari. The page does not display a map, and so I am unable to actually save a route.

Thanks!

Ditto, just went to create a PQ along a route for my trip and nothing - no map and nothing happens when I hit search. Tried on Chrome and IE on Windows machine.

Likewise, I cannot get past the step to edit your route. No map shows up. I'm on Windows 7 and using Chrome. I was able to do one map after reloading a few times but none since. I plan to try at home. I renewed my membership for this vacation but thank goodness I only paid for 3mos b/c this kind of thing will make me cancel in a second! I will put in an email inquiry with Groundspeak.

Short of the handful of people reporting this in this forum, we are not seeing examples of this and are unable to repro. It sounds similar to issues people reported about the main geocaching map (http://www.geocaching.com/map) a few months back, though. That issue appeared to be the result of a certain brand/model of router with a built-in firewall that was interfering. What router are you using?

Have the same problem with Firefox 31 and Google Chrome.

JavaScript Debugger shows me this error messages, when the page is loaded:

1. getPreventDefault() should not be used longer. Use defaultPrevented instead.

2. ReferenceError: google is undefined

3. window.controllers should not be used longer. Do not use for browser detection.

I think the problem is number 2 here.

Quick fix: Creating a route works in Firefox if a private window is used.

Maybe, this could help you.

This quick fix did the trick for me. Thank you
