+Panther&Pine
We will be road tripping from Seattle to San Francisco and back to Seattle in mid-June. We will be going through Portland, to Crater Lake, to the Redwoods (via 101/1), and San Francisco to the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz on the way down. The way back will probably be more direct, unless you have a phenomenal cache along the way that we just can't miss. We have 8 days and 7 nights to work around. What caches vaguely along that route do you recommend? We aren't interested in finding old caches that are highly rated just because they are old, but old caches that are cool/in a great spot are good. Quote Link to comment
+WeightMan
I have a couple of bookmark lists that cover part of that trip. This one is 101 and CA 1 and This one is I-5. Those will probably cover more area than you are doing, but they are ones I liked when I did them. Quote Link to comment
+Sol seaker
Hi MJS! There are a ton of virtuals and earth caches in San Francisco. I'd love to join you guys to hunt some of them. I've always wanted to find them, but it just doesn't appeal to me bumming around San Francisco by myself. Email me and let's see if can meet up there to find some of them. I've been looking for someone to find them with. That would be great. Sol Quote Link to comment
+tomfuller & Quill
There are a couple of Earth Caches in Crater Lake NP that you may not be able to get to because of snow. There was a general dump of snow in Crater Lake early Saturday morning. I'm thinking the north entrance may still be closed until about July 1. Quote Link to comment
