+-CJ- Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I submitted my first EarthCache and now I'm waiting for it to be reviewed. I've got a standard message explaining that "it can take up to a week before your EarthCache is reviewed". No rush, I can wait as long as needed. Perhaps think about how to make it better. 10 days passed. How long does it normally take to get an EarthCache reviewed? Quote
BlueRajah Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I looked at your cache and saw that you responded to the reviewer, try emailing them directly. That reviewer recently moved or is in the process of moving so they may have been caught up in that. A simple email can bring it to the forefront again. I am guessing if they were moving, or getting set up, that they are buried in emails. (I get that way at times also). So the reviewer ends up playing catch up. Quote
+GeoawareGBL Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Yep, that's us! Excuses for the long waiting time. It's been a terrible week with something related to our move or work going on every evening. Normally I'd post a note asking for a bit more patient but I was too tired when I finally got home. We'll go through our review queue later today and tomorrow, and your cache is indeed at the top. Nina, GeoawareGBL - Global EarthCache Reviewer Quote
