+geofred
There is a Kickstarter project called GPS Adventure Box which will enable experienced geocachers to provide a custom geocache experience with a prize locked inside a box until all waypoints have been achieved. Interesting twist on geocaching. Quote Link to comment

+Walts Hunting
Nothing new here except for comericialization. It is arduino controlled box that you can program steps into and each subsequent one only shows when you get to the previously described one. There have been several show up in this community where when you press the button it gives you the distance to the final. You stumble around until you get there. Quote Link to comment

There have been several show up in this community where when you press the button it gives you the distance to the final. You stumble around until you get there. There are actually several new features here besides the commercialization. This one lets you put in multiple way-points with hints for each one. It also uses a Google Maps overlay (gpsadventurebox.com) to select the way points. No actual programming required.
