ILYK Hi drneal, GeoPT.org, a geocaching discussion portal in Portugal, initiated and organized the GPS awards to highlight quality caches across the country. It's a non-profit organization. Geopt volunteers work to improve the geocaching experience in Portugal with a wide range of ativities/ initiatives/ applications: • organized the GPS awards to highlight quality caches across the country (last weekend was the annual ceremonial GPS award, http://coord.info/GC4G5EH, integrated in a wider event - http://coord.info/GC4G1E0) • developed the geopt geocaching tools, a software that helps the geocachers: an easy and faster way to manage logs, photos and trackables, alongside with other functionalities • developed the “listing generator” • developed the “helpdesk” tool • developed and constantly improve the IAAN tool – It’s All Abount Numbers – a place where you can see a wide range of rankings and statistics about geocaching in Portugal It’s the main geocaching web portal in Portugal. And it’s non-profit. And it’s free. And it depends on volunteer work. So, as a Portuguese geocacher that like what they do, I organized this series of auctions to help them.
