SO I just made an announcement on an event page through our group account. Naturally I get an email because I logged a "will attend" saying [log] attendee.

 

I will also get a notification because I have it on my watchlist; [log] watchlist

 

But I also get another one [GEO] notify. Is this a bug or intentional.

 

I was thinking it may be my notification settings, but I can't seem to view what I currently have set.

If the subject has "Notify" in it, it means it was sent because it matches one of your Instant Notifications. At the bottom of the email, the last link will point to the Instant Notification that generated the email. You must have one set up for the Event cache type and for the Announcement log type.
