+cwgrizz
I have seen a file ie 388564212.lpt in the Garmin/GPX/current folder as well as a file current.gpx. I know that the current.gpx file can be deleted and it regenerates on boot up of the GPSr (in this case Oregon). My question is what is the .lpt file? Can it be deleted? In searching the internet, Garmin forums and these forums I have not been able to find any info. I did find in these forums someone in 2010 asked the question, but 0 replies. Anyone have any ideas now? I know you all are getting smarter. Thanks Quote Link to comment

+cwgrizz
Here's a link that may help https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?p=32649 Thanks for the info. It did give me a better idea of what is going on and what the file is for. At least I see that I can safely delete it and if it is needed again, it will regenerate. I don't know why when I searched the Garmin Forums that I couldn't find it. Wrong search terms I guess. Ha! Quote Link to comment
