My 13 year old just made a mobile playing game using ARIS. To me, it seems like a Wherigo type of game - meeting characters, getting items etc. I played it through a ARIS-App on my iPhone.

 

Wherigo builder sounds very complicated, Aris was quite easy since my 13 year old managed by himself. Is it possible to make à game in Aris instead and upload it as a Wherigo? Or is there some other way to get it to geocachers?

 

Or is Wherigo builder as easy as ARIS (see Arisgames.org)?

No if you make an Aris game, it's an Aris game, not a Wherigo.

Probably not, though RangerFox's Wherigo Kit is darn easy - limited but sure easy to get started with.

You'd need to contact Groundspeak directly with this question. They might be open to it, or not. Sometimes they allow new technologies to be tested on a limited basis while they evaluate. You'd email to the general contact address, contact@geocaching.com

Great, now I am not so confused anymore. But introducing him to Wherigo builder seems to complicated, we'll just stick to Aris and have some fun ourselves!
