Hi All, I have recently purchased an Etrex 30 and a premium membership from Geocaching.com. the problem i have is that although i can download the caches to the GPS, it doesnt give me the caching info that Premium membership allows. Am i doing something wrong? I read on a previous thread that in order to receive the premium caches, you must first delete the old no premium caches i have copied over. i have done this to no avail?

It's not clear exactly what you did. Try removing ALL caches from the 30, do a reboot with no caches on the unit, then load on caches you download as a premium member.

I see you have logged one cache.

IF you loaded that cache onto your unit BEFORE you were PM, you need to delete all data regarding that cache (and others, if you loaded more) from your unit.

Once that is done, use Pocket Queries to load caches to your unit and all data (including hints) should then be on the unit.

The mixing of Non-Premium and Premium data confuses some GPSr units.
