+Don_J
Same thing around here-un or non-events are regular lunch dates without listing them. Occasionally they are listed, and sometimes someone attends who even gets added to the email list for the unevents. All of this is fine. Our local group does the same thing almost every week with a hike and after hike lunch. Another sub-set meets once a week after work. There have been Christmas parties and Birthday parties and so on. What's missing from this is what I consider to be one of the most important reason for holding a listed event. Meeting and welcoming new geocachers and dare I say, training them to be good responsible geocachers by boring them to death with our geocaching tales. If it takes a smiley to entice them to come, then so be it. As long as you leave them with the attitude that they would like to attend the next one regardless of the smiley points. AZcachemeister
Perhaps if all the events were at least 528 feet apart it would be OK? Quote Link to comment
