+BareClawz
Hi, I am the creator of a short but growing cache series in the UK that as per the title feature looking for a cache Below a feature that's Above on the ground. For this I use several of the old stone quarries in my area which are very similar to mines, but safer as there is no co2 risk. A quick search on Google and Nevada seems to be the main area for abandoned mines and I'm hoping there is somebody out there who like me has an interest in Geocaching and mine exploring. If so please get in touch and at least we'll get the Below Above series across there and hopefully create a link between two caches, one in each country. Thanks Steve aka BareClawz Quote Link to comment
+Moose Mob
Yes, there are many mines in Nevada and other locations in the Southwestern US deserts. However, since it is illegal to enter an abandoned mine in the US, caches inside of mines (or quarries) cannot be published. Quote Link to comment
