+SkepticalTuesday
I've just recently upgraded to a premium account and used a PQ to download a large number of caches in my area. The other day our family went out and found a handful of them. Is there a way to sync the caches we've marked as found on our gps (Garmin eTrex 20) with our geocaching.com account? +Gitchee-Gummee
sync? Do you mean upload the field notes? On your Profile Page: Quote Link to comment
+SkepticalTuesday
Yeah, that's what I was looking for, thanks. Do you have to manually enter a log for each of them to have them counted toward your number of found caches? Quote Link to comment
+niraD
Yes, after uploading your field notes, you need to convert each field note into a real log. My field notes are shorthand reminders for my eyes only. I wait until I have a real keyboard before I post my online logs. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Actually, you don't have to do anything except for key the [submit] button for each individual, after uploading the field notes. But... ya know, logs are nice for the person that went to the trouble of placing and maintaining the cache. It would be nice... Quote Link to comment
