distant
Most (all) GPS will do that ... it's what else you want that will make the difference. If that truly is all you want buy the cheapest you can find is there any that you would recommend maybe a lightweight one? Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
With the criteria supplied, it would be difficult to recommend one really, other than simple "base" models. The problem with base models is that folks promptly "outgrow" them (as they learn geocaching) and upgrade soon thereafter anyway. So.... generally speaking, buying a base model is nearly a waste of money. Base models usually do not accept SD cards (expanded memory for maps and the like). Good mapping is required if you desire to use highway routing to get to/near the cache. It is the mapping that performs that function. "Budget" models include the Garmin eTrex 10, Magellan 110 and Magellan Explorist GC "Better" models include the Garmin etrex 20 Magellan Explorist 310 Of course as economics dictate, the price climbs the "better" the model.... Good Luck Quote Link to comment

+Gitchee-Gummee
Complaints many times, more often than one may think, arise because of a user not knowing how to use. These companies have been around for a while, they wouldn't continue to exist if they made pure junk. Quote Link to comment
distant
Bear in mind that generally people complain ... they'll be many more out there without any issues I've had 5 Garmins now and they've never caused me any grief, except if I've been stupid the etrex 20 looks good to me i might decide to buy this one Quote Link to comment
