+Bilder
I have tried out this fun sport for a couple days now and am really enjoying it. My family is getting into it as well. Problem is that we do not have a GPS and are in a money crunch at the moment. Soooo..... Lets trade! I have a Tesoro metal detector if you are interested. It is model Cutlass 2. Bought it new 4 years ago for $250. They go on Ebay for 125-150 last I saw. Here is a link to a review on this detector: http://www.losttreasure.com/fieldtests/lt970632.cfm I have found many coins and lots of silver and gold jewelry with this detector. It is very light and can break down to fit easily in a suitcase for travel. Simple to operate, yet powerful enough to find some really nice stuff. My ebay rating is under the username alaskawood if you wish to check. I am in Alaska and can ship the detector Fedx anywhere in the USA or Canada. Looking for a good starter GPS. If interested let me know. Email is mike.wood@acsalaska.net Quote Link to comment
Montana Latitude
What GPS unit are you hoping for, just anything or do you have something in mind. I have a Magellan 2000XL with owners manual, Quote Link to comment
+Bilder
How many channels does that unit receive? Paralell or sequincial? From what I read on this model, some are 2 channel, some are 12. I may be interested. I am looking for a 12 channel unit. If it is an older model does not matter to me much. Mainly looking for a good starter unit that will work well for geocaching. How old is it and do you have the pc interface cable? [This message was edited by Bilder on May 27, 2003 at 12:47 AM.] Quote Link to comment
