finding a certain cache in a specific area.

Hello. I am going to visit some family near Waco, Texas and was wondering if there was a way to search for caches within 10 miles of that area( vs the 100 or so miles that are normally shown).Also is there a way to search only for puzzle caches and multi caches in that 10 mile radius?Or caches with the most favorites? And last but not least, anyone from that area that would recommend a cache?

Pocket Queries are great! I love having the ability to add a route as a query and it saving to my phone.

 

I also love this search if I'm just noodling around on my laptop looking at descriptions, difficulty, etc.: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/default.aspx for just pure proximity. If you just want to save a few to your Iphone, this is a quick and easy way to get a little radius. HTH!

Another way to find caches near where you're going is to scroll the map to the area then zoom in to find a center point. Select a cache there and on that cache page click on find nearby caches. That will give you a list by distance from your central point.
