Hello. I am going to visit some family near Waco, Texas and was wondering if there was a way to search for caches within 10 miles of that area( vs the 100 or so miles that are normally shown).Also is there a way to search only for puzzle caches and multi caches in that 10 mile radius?Or caches with the most favorites? And last but not least, anyone from that area that would recommend a cache?

Hello, I have a geocache set up and was wondering if it is withen the rules. I understand no cache can be placed with 1/10th of a mile of another, but does the rule apply to a single cache with multiple parts? The cache I hid contains 6 film canisters with numbers written on the lid, and on a sheet of paper. With those numbers you solve a puzzle to find the final cache. The 6 canisters are all within 100-300 feet of each other in a park. I have my cache posted for review, as follows.( will edit out the cords.) You will be walking down paved trails, crossing a small creek and visiting a man made pond. There are 6 film canisters with a number on the lid and on a sheet of paper located through out the park. Your goal is to find the canisters and write down the number at each point. Use those numbers at the coords below to find the cache. Is is possible to get a trackable number( like off a geocoin ) ? or should I just buy a travel bug, and use that number. I want to do something similar to this guy,( http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?tracker=TB20ZDE ), But I will be tattooing a travel bug and the number on my wrist.

I fail to see why I needed to put dnf on all of their caches when they are not there.If I notice someone has hidden several cahces in an area I look for all of them. If I cannot find any of them I post DNF on one of them.

^ I have visted this cache( and the one next to it) many of times. It is less then half a mile from my house and the only smiley within a mile i cannot get. I have checked here atleast 5 times in the past year.

There are two really cool hiding spots just up the street from my house. Neither have been found in over 2 years. How do I see how far away I am from getting a geocache with every letter/ number? I see people with graphs showing these all the time but do not see a way to get it.

So its up to me to decide if i want to keep it or move it?

I've seen a few collections of them( some in the hundreds) and always wondered how they have so many.Also why do they keep them i thought trackables and such were to be dropped into other caches. Are there certain ones you keep how do i tell the deference?

First post ever on forums, never had a geocoin. had 2 trackables but iput them in caches. Are we allowed to keep geocoins or what?
