+Gitchee-Gummee
Best mechanism for loading caches to a Delorme and uploading field notes is the widget (free) download from Delorme. Cache Register does it all with little more than the blink of an eye. --------- Download PQ, open Cache Register (it sees available PQs immediately), plug the GPSr into the computer then turn it on. Cache Register reads the unit and the SD card -- when it stops, click the (yellow) Sync bar. It will load your GPSr and automatically upload any existing field notes. Done. One sidenote: it is VERY helpful if you NAME your PQ before submitting. If you have multiple PQ's, Cache Register loads them separately, each into its' own file using the name that you made for the PQ. Helps a lot if you load PQ's from vastly different locations, and they do not overlap. Depending on the area you are caching, open the PQ for that area directly from the SD card.
