+MysticusHiker
I am new to geocaching and so far have found 6. I go into C:Geo and refresh caches I have stored. Then I use the compass to guide me to the general area. Do most people just use the compass or do you use the compass then switch the format to the overlapping circles or trail lines? I originally started just using the circles then found the compass feature. I just don't understand which method is the most accurate and would appreciate any advice. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
That APP violates the Terms of Service agreement for accounts on the website. Use the official APP or one of the API parter apps - http://www.geocaching.com/live/partners/ Quote Link to comment
+MysticusHiker
Thank you. I had just researched apps and thought this one was O.K. I will download one of those suggested. Sorry. Quote Link to comment
+kunarion
Thank you. I had just researched apps and thought this one was O.K. I will download one of those suggested. Sorry. The official app, and even some of the free ones, can use GPS Status (a "radar" compass), or Locus Free (which has a couple of nice compass screens including a pretty cool AR compass overlay), as an alternative compass from within the app, if they're installed. None of that is practical on my Acer A500 -- it's more of an indoor Android. But when I've hunted caches with it, I've preferred the large "radar" compass. Quote Link to comment
