+candyseni
I'm from Canada and I'm on vacation in Germany. I took my Oregon 550 with me, but I do not have a map for the area here. Where do I get one resonable priced and how do I get it on the GPS, without the computer software? Or does the GPS show the location without a map? HELP, please. Quote Link to comment

Try openfietsmap, or garmin.openstreetmap.nl. Both are free. Or you could pay for and download City Navigator EU. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
Or try things "Old School" and use a paper map... GPS will point to the correct location. Just watch out for cliffs and things you really do need to avoid! Edited June 30, 2012 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
+splashy
The free OSM OpenStreetMap is better then the Garmin map, some people 'çomplain' there's to much on it. ;-) Quote Link to comment
