+Jbird and Zip Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 I've created a pocket query, but when I try to copy the results to my Garmin, I'm stumped. The "download waypoints" feature just gives me a .loc file, there's no option to do anything else. Is there a way to add all the results of the query to my GPS at once, or do I just have to copy one at a time? And how the heck do I download a .gpx file? Quote

The Garmin 450 and 550 have a "GPX" directory, and when you plug the GPSr into a USB port, you manage the files directly as if it's an ordinary flash drive. Others may be similar. What model of GPSr do you have? Edited June 23, 2012 by kunarion Quote
+Jbird and Zip Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 It's a 62S. I'm able to download each found cache separately, I was hoping to be able to drop all the results of the PQ into the GPS at one click. Not possible? Quote
+Bear and Ragged Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Are you taking the results of your PQ from the second tab "Pocket Queries Ready for Download" on this page > http://www.geocaching.com/pocket/ ? Quote
+Jbird and Zip Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 I looked, there's nothing on that tab, even though I've created two pocket queries. Quote
+Bear and Ragged Posted June 23, 2012 Posted June 23, 2012 Then the PQ hasn't run. Did you select 'Day to Run'? Quote
+Jbird and Zip Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 Yes, and we've added a new one just to test the functionality, waiting for it to appear. We'll keep plugging on. Thanks for responding, I think this will be very helpful once we actually get it to work! Quote

+Jbird and Zip Posted June 23, 2012 Author Posted June 23, 2012 Thanks to everyone for your time, we finally got the PQ loaded onto our GPS, just as we wanted it to work. Quote
