How do I search for cache series?

I am new to geocaching and during my searching the website have stumbled upon a couple of cache "series". For instance the Route 66 series of 800 caches all along a highway, close together. I have heard people talk about other series like the Alphabet series and the Yermo series. How do I find these series of caches. Is there a way to search for them? Or do I just search on the map and try to find caches close together?

Sometimes a cacher (often the cache owner) will create a Bookmark of a series of caches.

Have you looked at the cache page to see if there is a Bookmark?
