Why do i have to hit "geocaching.com discussion" twice to enter this forum?

Why do I have to click on "geocaching.com discussion" twice to enter this forum?

 

 

1) I go to forums. (I am already logged on)

2) I click on geocaching.com forum.

3) Forum categories page reloads (as opposed to entering me into the geocaching.com forum)

4) I click on geocaching.com forum.

5) I enter the geocaching.com forum.

 

This doesn't happen if I enter the Travel Bug, Newbie, or general forums, for example.

 

System = Win2k SP3, IE6, running thru Junkbuster Proxy on a Freesco Linux router. Browser spoofing its user agent as Mozilla 5/Linux.

 

Forum does aforementioned oddity whether routing thru proxy or not.
