+Team Pixos
Thought it was neat to go out yesterday and find the two oldest caches in Alberta. Fantastic to see those really little GC numbers. DD was so excited. The park they are in is awesome. All in all a great day 19 finds and 2 DNFS Quote Link to comment
+Keith Watson
Congratulations on your find. When I visited the oldest active cache in Ontario I had no idea there anything special about it. It was just another cache in the area we were caching. We stopped at Canada's first geocache on the way to Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, and last year I visited GC39 with res2100, the first cache placed East of the Mississippi. I didn't know about it until a few years ago a cacher in New York state told me about it when I was looking into another cache. Very nice area and a cool feeling finding such an old cache and it was in great shape. Quote Link to comment
+CanadaKate
Congrats! We were happy to find the oldest cache in Pennsylvania this weekend on a road trip to a family wedding. There's something special about those pioneer caches -- that one was only a month younger than my younger daughter. Quote Link to comment
+CanadianRockies
Congratulations! We're from Alberta, but we haven't yet found our province's oldest cache. We did, however, find PEI's oldest while on holiday. Quote Link to comment
